Be the One Who Builds Different

📖 Matthew 7:24–25

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”

🪨 The Message

Everyone’s building something — a life, a reputation, a family, a future. But Jesus didn’t say the wise man built a prettier house; He said he built on a stronger foundation. The difference isn’t in what’s visible — it’s in what’s underneath.

When storms hit, what’s below the surface shows. The world says decorate it, upgrade it, make it look strong. But faith says build deep. Lay your life on the Rock — not feelings, trends, or people — but Christ Himself.

💡 Outside-the-Box Reflection

What if God allows storms not to destroy you, but to reveal what’s holding you up? Maybe He’s showing where the cracks are — not to shame you, but to make your foundation solid again.

Ask yourself: Am I decorating sand or building on stone?

💪 Be the One

Be the one who builds different.
Be the one who obeys when it’s unpopular.
Be the one who digs deep instead of settling for shallow.
When others crumble, you’ll still be standing — not because you’re strong, but because your foundation is.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, help me build on You. When life shakes, remind me that You are my Rock and Redeemer. Teach me to hear Your Word and do it — to dig deep, trust fully, and stand firm when the storms come. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
