šŸ’ŖI Don’t Allow Roblox, and That’s Okay

Mom Club 1

šŸ’ŖThat Mom Club

I don’t allow Roblox in our home.
Not because I think you’re a bad parent if you do.
But because I’ve made a decision based on my child, our values, and what I’ve seen firsthand.

I’ve read the reviews. I’ve seen the chat features.
But more than that — I’ve seen how easily it pulls my daughter into a world that’s harder for her to manage emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

And here’s what I’ve learned:
Just because something is ā€œpopular,ā€ doesn’t mean it’s peace-filled.
Just because it’s labeled ā€œkid-friendly,ā€ doesn’t mean it fits your kid.

ā€œI will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.ā€
— Psalm 101:3 (NKJV)

In our house, we say no to some things so we can say yes to better ones.
No judgment. Just intention.

Parenting takes wisdom, not scripts.
And for us — this was a wisdom decision.

Journal Prompt:
What’s one boundary I’ve set for my family that’s been hard to explain to others? How can I stay confident in it even when it’s not popular?

Prayer for the Week:
Father, give me boldness to parent with intention — even when it’s not what others expect. Help me discern what’s best for my child, and stand firm in love. Thank You for the guidance of Your Word in a noisy world. Amen.

šŸ’Ŗ Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual — but it does come with wisdom, strength, and a whole lot of grace.
