☕ Coffee Truths: All Seasons at Once

Yesterday I walked through the store, and each aisle seemed to shout a different message.
On one side, shelves of pumpkins and cozy fall colors. Turn the corner, and there were spooky costumes for Halloween.
A few steps further, Thanksgiving turkeys lined the shelves. And then, suddenly, Christmas trees were already glowing with lights.

Four seasons, all at once. No pause, no breathing room — just a rush from one to the next.

Life feels that way sometimes, doesn’t it? One part of us wants to hold on to yesterday’s memories. Another part is already worrying about tomorrow.
And right in the middle, it’s so easy to miss the season we’re actually living in.

But God never asked us to carry all the seasons at once. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us:
“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

That means there’s a time to gather and a time to let go. A time to grieve and a time to laugh. A time to plant and a time to harvest.
Not all at once — but one at a time, in His timing.

When I try to live in all the aisles at once, I end up anxious and exhausted.
But when I slow down and receive the season God has me in, I find His peace.
Fall reminds me to release. Thanksgiving reminds me to give thanks. Christmas reminds me that Christ came.
And every season in between — they all carry lessons, if I’m willing to stay present.

So as you sip your coffee today, pause. Don’t live in yesterday’s aisle. Don’t sprint into tomorrow’s.
Thank Him for this moment, this season, this day. Because He’s here, right now. And that’s enough.

🙏 Closing Prayer

Lord, help me to live in the season You’ve placed me in today. Guard me from clinging too tightly to the past or rushing too quickly into the future. Teach me to see the purpose in this moment and to trust that Your timing is perfect. Thank You for being faithful in every season. Amen.

What “aisle” have I been stuck in lately — the past, the future, or today? How can I thank God for the specific season He has me in right now?
